Tagore Music lies at the heart of Shahana’s music curriculum, which is designed in two parts
4-Year Certificate Course
This is an entry level course for those who want to start at the very beginning. At the end of 4 years the student will be ready to take on more difficult challenges and take their musical practice to a higher level.
(Ages 6 Years and Above)
4-Year Diploma Course
A student should have completed the Certificate Course or have basic knowledge and understanding of various aspects of Indian music to take on this course. At the end of 4 years, the student will be equipped with the ability to perform any of Tagore’s songs.
Special Classes
This is a higher level class for people who have undergone detailed training in Rabindra Sangeet and explores the greater nuances of Tagore’s songs and keeps the practice going.
